Back to Nature. Simplicity. Escape. Intimacy. Romance. Refuge. Quiet. Secluded.
Do you want to get away from the office, traffic and skyscrapers? Slow it down with a quiet, relaxing weekend in the Mountains. Relax inside, or out on the deck watching the deer! Want some action during the day? Plan a Hiking, Rafting, Fishing or Canoe Trip.
As a local resident I can also offer my assistance with restaurant recommendations and tour planning. Whether you want to go White Water rafting, Horseback Riding, Hiking, Motorcycle Riding, or Canoeing we can make arrangements for you. I am an avid Motorcycle rider, so I have a couple of great day trips planned out in the area. The cabin is Motorcycle accessible/friendly. We also can arrange any other events you might be interested in, such as skeet shooting, or fly fishing. As for funding Antique shopping trips, you are on your own.
Feel free to contact us with any questions you might have.

:: About the Cabin |

The cabin is a small, quite and cozy getaway, located in Cherry Log, GA. It has one bedroom, with a queen size, feather bed, and a loft with a queen size bed, that is perfect for any children or guests. It is a one bathroom, unless you also count trees.
There it sits on three acres, and is very secluded. Unlike most rentals properties, it does not sit in view of other cabins in the area. It is so private the deer walk around naked. There is a very large deck, covered front porch, gas grill, and fire pit. There is a very long, private driveway with a turn around, perfect if you have a trailer with some mountain bikes or canoes!
It is the perfect retreat for a couple to get away, and turn off the cell phones and PDA’s. Unfortunately they do get a signal at the cabin.
The cabin is equipped with a Stove, Microwave, Gas Grill, Coffee maker, small fridge and Toaster oven. For entertainment there is a television, DVD player and various board games. There is no high speed internet, foosball tables, etc.

Blue Ridge grew and prospered in both commerce and tourism since its founding, with the coming of the railroad in 1887. Unique, art galleries, antique shops, furniture galleries, specialty shops, and eateries make this a wonderful experience in leisurely shopping and dining, any time of the year. The old railroad depot is listed on the National Registry of Historical Places.
Considered the gateway to the mountains, this community is conveniently located just 1.5 hours north of Atlanta. Lake Blue Ridge and the Toccoa river, both located in Fannin County, are the head waters of the infamous Ocoee River, in Polk County Tennessee, home of the 1996 Summer Olympics Kayaking event.
